I'll take the pizzeria on the road we took back to the A1 from Maranello. No idea what it was called, or exactly where it was but for four euros, it was the best pizza I've ever eaten.

being a Knosser of pizza,s can tell you who,s best...
for hot pizza..
in order of taste/ value
1st ) Perfect Pizza on the whole good, but can occasionally suffer from tomato base overload
2nd) Famous Moes, good choice of toppings, bit heavy on coarse chopped onions/ mushrooms
3rd) Pizza hut, good choice of toppings and balanced flavours
4th) Dominoes, odd taste, odd presentation, and **** orders up consistantly
For next day cold pizza
1st)Pizza hut a good cold chomp
2nd) Perfect Pizza, looks good cold and tastes ok
3rd) Famous Moes, looks bizzare next day, and cold onions/ meat can be a bit strong
4th) Dominoes, never again. nuff said
I used to work for Perfect Pizza, and used to get a large 15" every night i worked, they were that good!!!
i,ve got on on the go now, should be ready in 15mins :

Dominoes make pizzas back to front - they put the tomato sauce on the base, then the cheese, then the remaining toppings. Hence why when you get it home most of the toppings have come off
Didnt complain every week when work allowed us to order from them. Large pizza, side, dessert and 1ltr coke each. How I never put any weight on working shifts I dont know
Pizza hut I dont mind. Pizza Express nice but a little to pretentious for wha they are.
Best pizza I ever had was in Thailand at some place called the Hungry Horse (not to be confused with the crap chain in this country) owned by a big german fella.
Simon.

Prefer Pizza Hut to Dominoes, agree about the tomoato overload at dominoes.
Pizza Express are ok but do any of them deliver/do take out?
You can buy Pizza Express Pizzas in supermarkets now to cook yourself...they're easily now ther best of this kind compared to all the other ones you can buy and cook yourself!

Pizza Hut for me if I had the choice but I have to travel 30 miles for te nearest one.
Dominoes is OK I suppose but theyre so expensive but it does taste fresh.
Pizza King or the Pizza place for me. 2x 12inch pizzas with Ham, Pepperoni, Chicken and Green Peppers.. Lovely and all for just £9. Think I'll polish them off tonight since its a friday

Yeah but everyone who has worked for one of these places or has a mate that has worked in one of them says the same things.
I used to work in an egg plant. It was basically a big industrial unit that made egg based products for supermarkets (mayo, scotch eggs, etc, etc). They supplied the likes of M&S and more run of the mill supermarkets which does make you wonder why you pay extra for M&S stuff. Either way, I'd not eat egg based products from M&S on the basis of what I saw. Ultimately unless you grow/kill, prepare and cook your own food you have to accept its not going to be very good. Bottom line is your gut is tough so get it down yer neck

Deep Pan wins for me, but as they don't deliver and Dominos do a Personal Pizza, Garlic bread and a can of full fat coke for £6.00 delivered that's what I'm having for dinner tonight!
Oh, and I used to work in a bottling plant - wine, vodka, you name it - some of the vats they used were massive and getting to the toilets took ages... you can guess the rest.
