He seemed to be able to hold his corner, although would loose it

Nope. Definately not the only one. The most blinkered, racist, intolerant idiot to post here. Simply unable to defend his one-sided views or to take a rational look at his own demented rantings.

From what I read, he meant well but got caught up with all the religious boll0cks that he'd been indoctrinated with. He struggled to deal with the debates from other viewpoints and his beliefs had 'nowhere' to go, especially given the anti-muslim feeling of many on here.

No need to sugar coat it - say what you really mean

Disagree with you old chap. Very nice fellow who let himself get carried away too much. Take all the baiting away from the bbs and you'd see.
Can be a PITA but even he admits that.

Have to take your word for it Puff, but I'm on the sceptical side of disbelieving
To me he seemed symptomatic of the issue - religions that ostensibly preach peace - but practice and instill intolerance in their every word.
I wonder if he'll be watching...

The Root of All Evil
8:00pm - 9:00pm
Channel 4
VIDEO Plus+: 8335
Subtitled
1/2 - The God Delusion
What with Jonathan Miller's Brief History of Disbelief and now this twoparter, atheism has had a good airing lately. Evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins here mounts a bracing assault on "the process of non-thinking called faith", with its "childish certainties", "pretence of comfort" and "irrational roots (which) nourish intolerance to the point of murder". Vivid phrases like these are scattered through his commentary like peppercorns. Dawkins isn't a natural presenter, but his encounters with religious types are enjoyably feisty.
