I tried it one year at Glastonbury (was all the rage). Didn't seem to do anything (except leave a nasty after taste). 
This is what pi$$es me off:
This lot malingering around on my taxes doing **** all for the society they sponge off. Another great sucess for New Labour's 'multicultural' project. 
This is what pi$$es me off:
"Back home the men were the breadwinners but they came to Britain without jobs and took up khat, which has become an addiction. They chew all night and during the day they can't do anything."

I've got a couple of taxi drivers in my town who i'm matey with and are always on dircet call to me if i want them (usually early/silly hours), they're both african immigrants (but all legal) and have loads of Khat. They never seem to be "out of it" or messy but are always chewing it and reckon it keeps them alert, awake and stuff! Tried some but didn't really 'get it'

Whilst totaly legal in the uk, be aware that other countries treat this as an illegal substance...
lots of teens in brighton have been ofered trips to various countries, all expenses paid, and also asked to take a bundle of Khat with them...
Ignorance being what it is, the youngsters have toddled off, and not getting clobbered by customs here are blissfully unaware of what lies ahead.
in short they are stopped by customs at the other end, and arrested for trafficking, long prison sentances and deportation follow

If anyone's considering Salvia, here's a warning. The last time I was in a room where people were smoking it one person jumped so high his head hit the ceiling, and just to prove it wasn't a fluke he continued to do it until he was held down, another thought he was trapped in a single frame of a film, he was standing still until someone touched him when he started screaming, he later told us he felt like someone had grabbed him and pulled him out of the frame which felt like being dragged through glass, a girl who smoked it belived she'd turned inside out and felt the pain. All in all a cheap and legal way to experience another world, but I've never been with anyone who enjoyed it.

This is some ****ed up scary **** guys, why don't you just pop round the corner and grab yourself some cocaine, or some acid.
Just because something isn't illegal doesn't mean its something you need to be throwing into your body, but on the other hand, its your body.
Just let me know where you all are and what time you leave for work so i can avoid driving in those areas tomorrow!!

you can buy it in lots of places, do a search, saw it in amsterdam a month or so back but i was to mashed on shrooms to take any

i think salvia is just raw plant (looked into it a while back)
you can either smoke it, or roll it up into a ball and shove it in your cheek (called a quid for sum reason??!!??)
