Default Phillips Senseo

Anybody else disapointed with it ?

Only tried the medium roast so far, but find it very bitter.

Coffeepodshop does different types of Senseo pod from around the world, are these any better ?

Yeah, I know what you mean. The throth on top is all well and good, but the taste of the medium roast is disappointing, esp as its Douw Egberts and they're normally pretty good.
The lack of choice is what really disappoints me, but I'll give coffeepodshop a look and see what alternatives I can get hold of.

Morning Allan

Me Too!

Found the quantity dispensed to small (needs a double cup to fill a proper mug!!)

And the temp of the coffee always seems cooler than I like!

Still, its better than the instant muck!

For a mug just use the 2 cup (1 cup is more for dinner partys!), a mix of mild and medium is quite nice using that way, but there are plenty of other pods around to try I like it

Thanks chaps, good to see it's not just my poor taste in coffee then

SJ, good idea might give that a go.

Gav, agreed one cup is not enough. I found that if you wait about 3-4 minutes before making the coffee instead of the recommended 90 seconds it's hotter.

Dazzler, let me know if you find any good tasting ones.

Tiggs, was also looking at one of those, but chose the Senseo as it uses Douwe Egberts.
