Smile New Year Quizz....

Clue: take yourself back around 10 years.

I came across this on an old VHS tape I'm archiving. Can anyone identify the memorable incident??

Happy New Year!!

Was it where Tiff Needel stuffed Mansell into a siding or bridge parapet in the touring cars?

You're all pretty much there. It was Mansell guest driving at Donnington, it was the Old Hairpin bridge parrapit, and he did get substanially 'helped' off the track by Needel - though he was already in deep trouble.

It was a hell of an impact and he was extremely lucky to get away with it. When they interviewed him a week later back in Florida he was still groggy - like Basil Fawlty after his knock on the head in the 'Germans' episode.
