Default Name and shame???

Just been cut up big style on Roscoes roundabout Cheadle Cheshire, by an old BMW. He then at the next lights got out of his car to bollock me, and said that I was in the wrong lane, when in fact he was himself. He then proceeded to attempt to spit on the bonnet of the mini as he walked away. The Mini cooper could had been badly damaged if I hadn't had sounded the horn not to mention his old shed. Here is a picture of his car prior to him getting out. He was a short large young lad.
Make a note of the reg and keep out of his way if you are in the cheadle area. Good job I wasn't in the Scoob @ the time.

Why not take photos of other bad drivers and post them here so we know who to keep out the way of.
Cheers
Warren

Sounds about right for the sort of driver you often get in old-banger beemers like that

Just lucky you didnt get hit by him as he may well have no insurance.

Go on then Warren, tell us about the lane positioning......people's lane discipline on r/bouts is a very sore point for me - in summary nobody has a damn clue!! Clueless ******.

***** - a cross between a c.unt and a ****.

Good idea by the way, though I fear the mods may remove the pic.

He might have been in the wrong lane but I expect you had sped up to try and block him from completing the manoevre right? It wouldn't have been close otherwise, had your observation been up to par.

I saw him coming in my mirror. At the time I was travelling with the flow of traffic.

So instead of dropping back to allow him to complete the overtake and merge safely you booted it and tried to shut the door on him. I knew it!

At the time it was not possible to drop back safely to let him in as it was to busy, he tried doing the same to somebody else a few seconds before, he left it to the last minute as he had nowhere else to go and unfortunatly we were nearly the unlucky party. He did it diliberatly to try and save a few seconds of his jouney time.
He can't have been in that much of a rush to get then get out of his car to challenge me about what has just happened.
It happens quite alot on this bit of road people tear round the roundabout then expecting to cut in on other cars the when comming off the r/about.

I know that roundabout very well indeed...more details please of this most excellent sounding manouvre by the BMW.

My particular favourite on that roundabout, is to approach with the AA on the left, hit the R-bout in the RH lane ( avoiding all dawdlers thusly ), then just take the first exit onto the M60. You need your wits about you though, as the occasional half wit will attempt to continue round to the next exit, nearly taking you out in the process.

I know we all get it occasionally, someone who drives like a looney then attempts to cut you up.
Then he has the cheek to get out and have a go at me, obvoiusly some sort of looser.

Had it had been you would would you had done/thought?
Perhaps he thought we were a pushover because we were only in the Mini at the time.
Had I had been in the STI he probably would not had even bothered!!!

good job you got his reg, go round to the police station and let them know that he threatened you and damaged your car and that he stunk of alcohol, they may pay him a visit because of your deep shock and trauma you have experienced

I would have got out of my car too just to see the look on his face... but then again I wouldn't have tried to shut the door on him in the first place if it would mean a near accident!

So if I have it right, you were in the LH lane, he was in the right at the lights by the Superchips sign, and you were both exiting the M60, and took the 2nd exit towards cheadle?

Surely he was just trying to pass you ?, the exit road in question is 2 lanes that merge into one, its all quite clear, and I'll wager you just squeezed the go pedal that little bit extra, such as to make his passing you that little bit more difficult?

are you sure HE was cutting YOU up?...as I understand it "cut ups" usually come from the inside, unless you are actually still on the Rbout, in which case a cut up is constituted by someone flying in front of you from the RH side to exit?

Edit to say...regardless, his behaviour at the lights was .

Yep I'll be having a few beers 2nite to calm down from all the 'big trauma'

I just thought though he deserved to have a nice photo of his beemer on the net.(He has a more recent pic of his car on the net than I do),

Wouldn't normally have been bothered but he was a cheecky sod.

Hi
As i was reducing speed end of the M60 slip road for the roundabout He was on my inside as if he was going in ChHeath direction. When I moved off from the roundabout to merge into what is the middle lane to take you in the cheadle direction he moved off very quick he then tried to come up my inside to move in front of me, of cousre he had nowhere to go. He the moved over into the outside lane of the rounabout behind me. He was then a few cars futher back in the queue in the outside lane. As moved off the lights with all the other traffic and exited the roundabout I saw him still on the rounabout tearing round tried to cut in front of someone else the me. I sounded the horn because he was being an **** we then met at the light as you know
Cheers Warren

Apart from the incident at the lights, he was just driving like a bit of a tool really, the overtake on the exit off the Rbout was legal IMHO.

'Fair enough' just really annoying at the time.
He was driving like an idiot

We all like to put our foot down now and again especially in our scoobies.
But not like that

Ought I to point out that, according to the highway code, travellers in the outside lane on a roundabout always have right of way?

If there are two lanes upon exit from the roundabout surely they are there to let traffic merge?

Sounds like his manouver was misjudged though and getting out and spitting on the car is just ridiculous even if it was a mini

regardless of right of way or not as I said previously to other members responces the guy was driving like a total arrogent **** and then proceeded to behave like one at the next set of traffic lights, I am sure most other people at the time like myself would have been totally pissed off with any other motorist acting in a similar manner.

Yep I know it, I also know what old beemers are driven like, usually by old blokes with shaven heads, I do however notice that a fair proportion of new Mini's are driven (present company excepted) pretty badly also, usually as the owner is too busy texting her (male or female) cronies about the latest hair product or Big Brother/Fame Academy/X Factor.
