$%^&* Agony 3 days after wisdom tooth removed??
Hi All
Had a wisdom tooth removed on thursday morning, and now on Sunday Im still in bloody agony! Hurts more at night for some reason.
Any dentists on here or anyone had similar symptoms? I was expecting some pain but not 4 days later! Should I go to dentist on Monday? or is it put up and shut up - my whole jaw area aches!
Andy

I've had two teeth out recently, one molar and one wisdom.
The molar was a nightmare - took an HOUR to extract, with the dentist having to cut the bone and gum away to get the tooth out and stitch it all back up again. The pain was excrutiating once the anaesthetic wore off and I was in serious pain for just under two weeks.
The wisdom tooth was much easier and hurt for a couple of days, but co-dydramel is a great painkiller and much recommended!
I'd go back to your dentist. They'll probably clean the gap put in a temporary pack to stop any stuff getting caught.

Sorry to hear that mate - mine took a week to settle down.
A dental joke to cheer you up:
Did you hear about the buddist who refused Novacaine during his root canal treatment?
He wanted to transcend dental medication.
Cheers

Had my wisdom teeth out a few weeks ago and was in pain for a good ten or so days. Dosed myself up with nurofen which seemed to take the edge off it, but to be honest just had to wait it out.
