hi, sorry to use general but i need quick replies.
Has anyone bought a car through escrow, i have the chance to get a uk registered car from the u.s., having only seen some pics am very nervous but if it comes off is the bargain of the year. The seller will use escrow.com, which seems legit.
Any advice will be appreciated as the car is apparantly locked up in a crate with paperwork ready for shipping.

Yes a few years ago. The money doesn't go to the vendor till you've received the goods. This is good, as long as you're happy with the car. If you're not, getting the money back can be a real pain.

Don't touch any other site with escrow in the URL as it will be a scam.
