Calling any Doctors
This may not save me a visit to the quack but I`ll try anyway....
Developed yesterday a small painful lump in my left ear right at the back of the ear where it joins my neck.
Gives me a bit of a head ache and hurts a bit.
Above bottom of ear lobe.
Any ideas??
Ta.
Lumps always worry me.

It'll hurt even more when the doctor presses it.
Phone NHS direct, but use the other ear

Are you talking behind your ear? You have a matching one the other side? If so a lymph node, usually becomes enlarged when you have an infection. Other causes are very rare. Well........quite rare
