I was on my way home from site tonight and there was a van with chevrons parked in a layby - There was also a police bike and car in front - Is this likely to be a speed camera or an ANPR van? There was a camera on each rear window by the looks of it.

The Scamera Vans round here operate alone, I guess so as not to draw too much attention to them. Quite often have the back doors open, so you can's see the markings and have yellow lights, so the look like a highway repair vehicle of some kind. So if it was round here I'd go for ANPR.
