Guys this is a long shot and in some ways a bit of a last resort. I would not be in the habit of posting this sort of stuff in here - but it has been done before and there were some sensible results, so I thought what the hell.... If this becomes muppetised i'll request the mods to remove the thread.

I have a female friend who is 31 and lives in the Manchester area. She is very attractive both in physical appearance and in her personality. I dont want to detail her personal circumstances in public, but she should have been getting married a year ago and her partner did a runner. She has recovered well from the aftrmath of that and is looking to meet that special someone. She is bright, friendly, confident and intelligent - she is an IT professional. She keeps attracting guys who are not on her level either intelligence wise or in terms of what she wants from a relationship - ie long term committment.

I have spent hours talking with her offering advice and my opinions and we have came up with many ways for her to meet new and suitable people. So far this has resulted in nothing positive, in terms of meeting anyone for a long term relationship. I really do think this is a case of guys thinking she is out of their league. Trust me she really is stunning and is a really warm character, I am at a total loss for reasons why guys aren't approaching her.

I am not posting photographs because I know scoobynet has its fair share of pervs. So sorry guys. I am sure the site has a number of single professional males who are looking for a long term partner - and in the main you are a friendly bunch of guys.

Like I say - this is beginning to take a toll on her confidence, and I can see this happening. Any single, trustworty, reliable professional males out there who would consider a blind date / befriending my friend with a view to something long term??

Nah - not at all man - she has an interest in motors and bikes, so came up with this idea. Its probably a million to one shot but I am becoming a bit worried about her so anything is worth a shot, it is beginning to get to her as all her mates are settled.

I am an extremely intelligent fellow and don't live too far from Manchester. However I am not single at the moment but am starting to wish I was.
