Delay in receiving text messages
My phone has developed a delay in receiving text messages.
It is a SE S700i on O2 and on occassion texts can take up to a day to come in, and sometimes not at all
If I take the battery off and replace it, quite often the phone will start beeping like mad as text after text arrive......
Anyone got any ideas if this is a network issue or a gubbed phone or even dodgy settings?

I knew you were going to say o2 before i even clicked on your thread. I was on o2 a year ago and had the same problem. I think its just the network. Thats the reason i left o2 after only 1 year due to txt coming late or even at all and really poor reception

Used to happen to mine all the time and I'm with O2.
Nowadays I just turn it off and on, ocassionally through the day, and it seems fine, no more delays with messages.

Hello
I used to have the problem with O2, my record was 2 weeks I think.
I just got in the habit of switching my phone off/on occasionally as that seemed to resync it with the network.
This was a couple of years ago, no problems with Vodafone.
