Yep, he deffo looked choked and moved on.

Makes a nice change to hear something heartfelt about RB rather than George Best all the time.

Well from what he was saying seemed they were friends rather than someone he met and knew, if you know what i mean.

That'll shut the moaners up from last week......

Great to see it there, Clarkson used Burnsie in one of his earlier videos when they were testing cars around a track. He did seem saddened by it.

Thumbs up

Unfortunately I missed it as I was busy celebrating something called "Sinterklaas", but I'll be sure to catch the repeat (on Tuesday?)

Massive respect to TG though!
RB really was a champion cut down in his prime.

Very moving. Well done Top Gear.

Apart from the end credits! Shame on you BBC for halving the screen footage of RB and then talking over to tell us what's coming up next etc
Total disrespect IMO.

Nick

PS Latest Autosport magazine has tribute pages to Richard Burns.

Let's not get into a debate about the end credits. It's petty but I thought I'd mention it all the same.
Overall the Top Gear tribute and what Jeremy said during the show about Richard was spot on.

I did understand that the family had asked the media to leave it a while before putting out any tributes .......

Anyone who complained it wasnt mentioned last week is clearly retarded. Its filmed on the Weds before transmission. Given RB died on Friday, anounced on Saturday. They cant really re-edit the show, as it would look worse.

Default Top Telly

Just saw the repeat. Top Gear = Top Telly and a fitting tribute to Richard Burns too.

EMc was excellent as well. I've got massive respect for her capabilities - but no, I wouldn't

Agreed, it summed up perectly what I was feeling so upset about. When drivers die, whether they are street jockeys or top of their game professionals, other drivers feel the pain, cos one of their own has gone.
Big cigar to Top Gear for their efforts, Rest In Peace RB.
astraboy.
