I know this has been done to death but we have a large rodent of the rat variety in our garden, we think the damn thing is under the shed .......
I dont want to either set fire to the shed or blow it up, has any one got any good none damaging ideas on how to facilitate the demise of said rodent?

 

ever thought of rat poisen? unless you have a dog or something that might eat it then get straight on the case. Easy. Failing that camp in the back bedroom with an airifle and wait on movement

 

Rat trap baited with chocolate, if you poison it it may die under the shed leaving a lovely lasting smell.

 

Glue boards, about the best method bar none.

Got to be a bit careful usign them though, with regards to humane dispatch methods.

I bought some from a local farming supplies shop but places like this also sell them.
