Hell, IM's going to be ripping into be anyway - I might as well give him plenty of ammo! DS9 for me - took longer to get into but it had some great characters and the best sense of humour - The Trouble with Tribbles (2) and The Magnificent 7 Ferengi (?sp)

I'm torn between TNG and Voyager. There both brilliant for different reasons. It was a sad day when Enterprise was taken off the air.
DS9 was a like eating a bowl of Klingon blood worms...i.e a load of ****e

TNG : Groundbreaking effects at the time on a TV series, most expensive TV show ever made at the time also. Characters all worked together well and developed superbly over the whole lifespan. Data is simply one of the best Star Trek characters ever. Oh, and "Best of Both Worlds", need I say more

DS9's my fav - the Dominion saga is some of the best tv ever scripted.
TNG - for 'The Best of Both Worlds' - best two part episode ever.
Voyager - urgh - (but 7of9 set new standards for alien poon-tang).
Nb - for all those saying TNG cos the Captain was a Brit, err, don't think so (Jean Luc Picard dont sound to english to me )

Started with the original, so it gets my vote...
got into TNG, diana sirtees!!!?? hubba hubba
data is the best easily... couldnt stand the stupid security woman who got killed (tasha yar)
beverly crusher wesley blergh (token child for the pc brigade)
the woman who did the stand in for crusher was diabolical (partridge family or similar)
voyager was naff apart from the odd episodes with murdoc!!!!
ds9 again poo
enterprise started ok then lost the plot somewhat

I watched all the Next Generation and almost every Deep Space 9 and Voyager.
Deep Space 9 was fantastic. It took a while to get used to the fact they were not moving throughout the galaxy, but it was a refreshing and great new direction to take the series in. Those battles with the Jem Hadar were simply epic.
The Next Generation was what originally captured my imagination though. Again great story lines and the first series to properly explore the technology, diplomatic aspects and so of the Star Trek universe. Also the series to first introduce us to the Borg!
Voyager was good too but didn't quite have the magic of the preceeding two series for me. I found it all a bit too small scale with this lonely little ship trying to find it's way home. Still thoroughly enjoyable though.
It's the new one I haven't really gotten into. Don't think it's good that we've gone backwards in time all of a sudden. Just hasn't gripped me like the others.
All considered though, and it is a tough one, my favourite has to be Deep Space 9.
