Apparently an islamic group called "Tablighi Jamaat", which apparently has terrorist links, will be making it its HQ! Fantastic! I love where the UK is heading!!

They want to build a big mosque in Cardiff as well. They need £5m to build it but have only raised £1.5m so of course now theyre saying that the mosque will be open to all faiths so they can gain public funding to build it.
Imagine if the Christian churches wanted public funding. They'd not stand a chance of getting it.

To be more exact, some members of the group were alleged (by the FBI, who didn't know their own head was a spy...), with no evidence presented, to have been possibly encouraging terrorism. To point out the obvious, most of the IRA are/were catholics: does that mean that the Catholic Church should be prevented from building a cathedral because some of its members were terrorists? Or does this rule only apply to Muslims? Or do you have some evidence that such encouragement (if it exists) is officially sanctioned?

Scoobynet I mean! Everyone views a Mosque with suspicion now. And as ever any mention of Mosques or Muslims results in a Terrorist spin! If you people actually bothered to grow up and understand all this you wouldnt be so blinkered and backwards! But I doubt 80% of you can form a rational explanation on anything after reading The Sun/NOTW/Daily Mail etc etc etc!
Maybe Al-Qaeda have got it right. The west does show intolerance and hatred towards Islam! Which then gives them the excuse to bomb the UK and other places!

Thats not the point is it! WE are SUPPOSED to show tolerance towards others and all the crap I read on here about "foreigners" and "terrorists" just plays into the extremists viewpoint.
Not so long ago, people spoke the same way as you do about other groups. Blacks, Indians, Pakistanis even Gay and Lesbians. Its not acceptable now, so why do you think slating ALL muslims is acceptable in 2005!
