not sure if its tooth, where this bit was was already broken hence the hospital job, thats why i dont think its tooth, if it does need extracting its back to hozzy for me then

I had a molar out about a month ago. Had exactly the same thing, bit of bone sticking out of the gum. Lasted about 2 weeks then just fell out while I was eating. Just a case of letting it work it's way out.

no i'll just gum things to death
i allready have a full upper, had it for about 15 yrs
the lowers have been getting progressivly worse since then, soft teeth, a right pain in the **** so it got to the stage where itwas do i spend xx on trying to keep whats left or have them out and a full lower.., and findinf a sympathetic dentist also helped.
at the end of the day i chose the latter, for many reasons,
apart from the discomfort at the mo, i know that once i have the plate done i will feel much happier than i have for many years,

Apart from the actual experiance of going to the dentist which is one of my biggest fears, old school dentists, have a lot to answer for!!
having no teeth is no problem either mentally or physically.
the amount of people who dont know is surprising, because they look so good, its very difficult to tell them from the real things.
apert from the odd food i cant get on with they are as easy if not easier than the real thing.
the only food to dat that gives me trouble is... apples.
would you believe it, i cant bite through the skin of an apple, yet once its broken and i can get a grip, its history..

I had exactly the same thing when I had one of my teeth out about 2 months ago. I felt a little bit of tooth remains stuck in my gum, went back to the dentist and he said it would come out of its own accord. 3 weeks later it finally came out!

Its out!!!!
got so p*ssed off last night i did some constuctive surgery
i couldnt get tweezers on it, so i used the old favorite...
a lolly stick and gave it a good push, lots of claret!! and click.
its tiny bit really, looks like it is tooth and not bone..
i,ll have a better look in the daylight.
cant feel any other bits at the mo, but we,ll have to see
