Default Tattoos that only last a year?

One of my friends was telling me that you can now get tattoos that only last a year??

Had a quick look on google but couldn't find anything, is he talking bull?

lol yeah right

Said they now use food dye or something for people wanting a temp tattoo? I reckon he is talking it, but thought I would check!

ive not heard of tats that last a year? like a semi permanet henna or somthing? tattoos r risky anyway i think. my mate had this rose thing on her hip which was...well...errr a little black splob thing not a rose at all. eeek!

I was stupid enough to have a temporary tattoo 7 years ago, it was apparently supposed to last between 5-10 years. Yes I know, DOH!! I didn't check it out properly and now have a band on my right upper arm that was apparently supposed to have faded by now. It was done by a beautician

Had I looked into it properly I would have found out that there isn't any such thing as a temporary tattoo. The guy who did my "real" one on my back said it takes a lot of skill to do a tattoo correctly, the temporary ones claim to not go as deep into the skin as a real one does, but he reckoned even a very talented tattooist couldn't do that easily, let alone a beautician.
