Default New Television

Hello

I need to unfortunately buy a new television. I have had an Hitachi 32" WideScreen one for about 7 years but you have to hit it a few times (not joking) to get it to stay on.

Any recommendations? I don't really want to spend lots of money (i.e. not Plasma or LCD), but another 32" wide screen is what is needed.

Maybe some of you have seen some offers kicking around?

Thanks,

Steve

Sounds like a dry joint in the Hitachi so certainly shouldnt cost much to repair although getting 7 years out of it you have done well.

Can probably do you a decent deal on a Panasonic if you're paying cash and can drop by Panny @ Bracknell?

Hello

Mmmm, I thought something like that. I am debating whether I should take it apart and look as I fix DVD players / Computers but have this memory of seeing a video where the tube of the television explodes when being "repaired"!
