Default What to get for Christmas?

My wifes getting at me to give her a list of what I want for Christmas so she can tell family what I want. I just can’t think of anything, anything I want I buy. Tell me what’s on your list for ideas.

If there is nothing you really want then why not ask that they donate the money they might have spent on you to, say, the local Hospice? This means that you, and they, are giving a present that someone really needs and that is of real benefit to all of society and it stops you filling the house up with things you don't need.

I give very few Xmas presents now but instead donate the cash to the Hospice, most people I have informed of this policy are very happy with it and I believe it is worthwhile. No point either getting, or giving, presents which may never be used just for the sake of it.

Yea, I did think of this. I may ask some to do this. I just can't think of things for £20 / £30 that I want.

If somebody else was buying then I'd go for an Xbox 360 if you can get one.

Id like to know this too?

out before christmas 2006 = maybe, just MAYBE it might come out before then...

avoid the xbox360? heard nothing but good things about it, thats the sort of thing a PS2 lover would say... XBOX is by far the better console IMO (coming from a ps2 owner who just sold his xbox on ebay )

Would never use a PSP. Bet ebay is awash with the things a couple of months after Xmas.

so the PS3 exists does it? must be one of only a few people to have seen one.

fair play. I must prefer the Xbox. Though the inclusion of the HD was a master stroke. No messing with saves etc. made it all very easy. also adding your own soundtrack to games etc. Then once I chipped it and used it to watch films on etc it has to be the best £100 I've ever spent. the good thing is they have looked at what was done with the original Xbox modding scene and they've implimented a lot of it into the 360.

Exactly, theyve basically seen what the public want from its box and created it... Cant grumble with that.

What exactly don't you like about the Xbox in contrast to the PS2 ? I'm intrigued . . .
