MPH'05 Live Motoring Theatre
Is anyone going? Is it worth it? Did anyone go last year? Is Earls Court better than the NEC or vice versa?

Took my 14-yer-old son last year to Earl's Court. Seats were in the front row, separated from the cars by exactly one piece of concrete block. The live show was really good, loads of noise, smoke and stunts. I thought the static show was ok, but it was the main show that made it worth the tickets.
The finale where the car was shot right across the auditorium to hit the caravan was stunning - typical Top Gear stunts.

Went to the first one in 2003. Thought the theatre was good but the rest of it wasn't up to much - nowhere near as good as the Motor Shows of old. We had the VIP tickets but so did countless others and we didn't get particularly goods seats unlike some. Maybe they've improved at 2 years on but I don't think we'll go again unless it changes spectacularly.
