Trick or Treat
Right, officially had enough, that was the tenth set of small witches, got in having been in work from 7.30 to 5.30 (busy as well), tea was ready so I sat down and had to get up 5 times, starving as well.
I suppose its good fun, some of the mummy's are nice as well, perhaps I should ask them what kind of treat I can offer them or say I bet they have turned a few tricks in their time.

I'm with Phil on this one. Sadly I'm sure that under the present government, wiring the door knocker to the mains would be frowned upon
I usually use Hallowe'en as an excuse to go out for the whole evening.

We buy loads of sweets every year and no bugger ever knocks on the door, this year we've not bothered and just had 4 kids at the door. they got 50p each, now the misses has just seen a group of about 10 kids walking by, shes turned the telly and light off and sat watching me on the PC (hiding) LOL.... thing is we've got friends coming round soon so we cant hide for long. and I aint giving 50p each to 10 kids....

from 5-30 - 7.15 it was all commers, as my littles was out with his mum, doing the rounds...
all who called were treated, only one was borderline teen, and i must admit even i was concered,, it was female but possibly not the full shilling... she just stood there in a mask and said "its me" oh right i really know who me is!!
now shortstop it in bed the lights ore off and its repell all boarders!!!

Yes, maybe but there are certain parameters of decency to which most men including me abide, the rest are called perverts and go to prison. I was concerned for their safety rather than being lecherous, I just struck me as strange that girls of that age would bother with trick or treat and be allowed out dressed in what could be considered a provocative way (especially to the average pervert). I generally have a sense of humour regarding most matters but this isnt really one to joke about, making suggestive remarks about 30 odd year old women is one thing but teenage girls is just a bit sick.

I am 24 and have a wee boy of 6, i had him out round the neighbours, at least he did something for his sweets, told a joke or did a silly song. The 4 groups of "Strangers" I had just knocked the door and held out their hands, not even a hello!!! typical of younger ones these days just expecting things on a plate without a please or thankyou!! pisses me off!!
