Portable Gas Heaters?
What with the coming winter supposedly going to be the coldest since the last very cold one, and the oil running out and having to import gas from windmill-land so there could well be power-cuts, and killer birds about to infect us with flu, and the Birmingham Cross City line running on a "leaf timetable", i thought that i would make some preparation.
You can get portable gas heaters for around a hundred quid (even at Argos), which sound like a useful backup for when it all goes dark and cold (bearing in mind that no lecky means no gas central heating).
Has anyone got any thoughts on the best model to buy - this one looks pretty good. Also, where is the best place to buy 15Kg butane cylinders and what else do i need to look out for?
advTHANKSance,
cheers,
mb

You can get them a fair bit cheaper than that from Calor Gas

Plus your butane.
