Default Question re household insurance

Does anyone know....

If the flat below me is complaining of water coming in, nothing visble inside my flat at the moment. Would that be the responsibility of the management company and the buildings insurance or my responsibility under my contents insurance???

Thanks peeps....

Buildings, I would think. A guideline that I have heard on deciding if something is buildings or contents is to ask yourself "Would I take this with me if I were moving?" As plumbing falls into the "wouldn't take it with you" bracket, I'd say it is buildings.
