But do you reckon there is any logic behind Us's decision? Is British beef still in doubts?

I thought that there was a thread recently about the taste of Brittish beef. I think the conclusion was that our beef was not up to much compared to the US

Taste is a different matter but the fear of Mad Cow desease is quite grave TBH.That's why i wonder, loomy.See,that's what the BBC are saying>
The US has blocked the distribution of around 350,000 packaged meals donated by Britain for victims of Hurricane Katrina, because of mad cow disease.

They are still prepared to send the meals to other countries though-how hypocritical is that?

How many people have actually been killed by CJD, a handful, every year thousands of Americans (and English) die from their diet, Heart Disease, Diabetes, dont think a few beef dinners are going to dent the numbers at all, and besides the residents of New Orleans seem to think life is cheap anyway, judging by their conduct when things went **** up.

America has a massive BSE problem; but they actively supress the story. If yuo remember Opera Winfrey tried to make people aware a few years ago and all hell broke loose.
