THe problem is by replying they (the spammers) will know that the email account is live, so you could find yourself getting a whole load more rubbish through.

Yes, that's very true, If I was going to send something sarky back I certainly wouldn't reply from my regular account! It's all probably automated anyway

Had exactly the same thing, although a different name.

So i replied, he repled back...asked him to prove he was genuine, so he even sent me a scan of hi passport..

Quite funny really.
