A CHALLENGE FOR ALL!!!
Right, been DJing for 7 or so years now and am starting to get more and more well known in my own area, trouble is i never could think of a DJ name, such as the likes of judge jules/ tall paul/ DJ Hype/ DJ EZ etc etc..
always gone under the name DJ Wez, very imaginative i know! but want to build up a reputation but its hard with a name that 30,000 other DJ's prob use!
any ideas for a name?? i play house, mainly funky house, stuff from the early 90's till up-to-date, i'm quite laid back and fairly lazy, am always late for things (not DJing though!) just to give you some points to go on....

What is your real name?
IMHO ditch the stupid or inventive names... just make you look like a berk. And dont put 'dj' in front of it either......
Judge Jules= his real name is jules and he has a law degree
Tall Pall= Paul Newman, and he is VERY tall..
Late wez..........doesnt quite have the same ring to it

just use your real name unless you play Hard House then something really crap like 'Wiked Wez Wildman' Those crazy kids love stuff like that when smacked off the heads on Ket and pills!

agree late wez aint too good! also agree 99% of the nick name/novelty names sound sh1te, which is why i havent used one.
full name is westley mclaughlin, not exactly catchy or easy to remember!
was thinking of shortening it to Wez Mc for flyers etc.. but then they'll prob think i'm an MC
and knew about jules and paul!
i dont really have a gimic i could play on, as i'm average hieght, average build and have 10 fingers and 10 toes etc..!
was thinking of relaxo, but i dunno, even dj hype/dj craze/ dj kool etc.. would sound sh1te for a local DJ anyway, only their fame that makes the name cool really i guess!

bars and clubs, the bars i do are pretty much like clubs aswell!
play mainly funky house but play other forms of house too, also like to slip in the odd dance classic, such as the prodigy etc.. (depending on the crowds mood!)

really into their music there, great sound system and some luuurvly new pioneers and technics for me to play with! plus the women are always hot there, same as where i'm resident! think they are following me
