Hi folks, need to pick your brains in the hope of coming up with an idea for a prize to give away in a charity raffle. Would like it to be something out of the ordinary, but be appealing enough to generate a lot of interest. Was hoping to sell tickets for no more than a tenner(ish).

How much?
Don't know cost in your area, but how about finding a good outside catering company or chef and offer a top notch dinner for four with appropriate wines for each course cooked and served in the winner's house.
Quite often one (wo)man bands are good for this.

 

Sorry folks, maybe should've stated that in my first post , we've got a budget of around 1800 quid to play with (enough to let your minds run riot?)

 

Day at the races for xx number of people in a box with free food and drinks, coach travel etc?

 

speak to a central london developer and see if they might 'lend' you a showhouse/showflat over a pre-arranged weekend. they could use the publicity and you might not have to use your £1,800, hence more for the charity.
if this is no good, then the principal might help you think of something along similar lines

How about an activity week/end planned by you? Such as picked up by helicopter flown to island to go water skiing, jet-skiing, scuba diving taken by powerboat back to main land where you pick up a hired fast car and drive to off road place to trash around in a landrover.

Think that should be your budget well and truely gone lol

 

Or a minute dash in an offlicence sure that could go down quite well.
