Payment of Court Fines - HELP

Trying to give a relation of mine some advice. I was wondering if it's possible to pay court fines by standing order or is it a case of cheque / postal order - or does it depend on the particular county court and how they are setup?

Some good advice for you: forget asking on here. Give the thieves (sorry, court) that imposed the fine, a ring and ask them. No mistakes then

They have a credit card machine in the foyer nowadays, bung it all on the card and pay it bit by bit. Until they start sending people to Australia again there is no imprisonment for a civil debt.
