Default Stuff to do in Glasgow

I will be in Glasgow for a week on a training course (starting a week today) so am after ideas of what to do in the evening, as once I have emptied and regretted emptying the mini bar, dismantled my Corby trouser press and availed myselfs of the delights of the pay perv view I will be a bit bored.

I intend to go to the cinema one night, I will also take my fairly aged laptop with me so could do with some suggestions of stuff that wont tax a creaky P3 too much.

I suppose it depends whether anyone else on the course enjoys beer and can tolerate my company at night after having had to deal with it all day.

UB, Southern California, thought you would prefer a little Northern California, San Francisco type action ?

Anyway, who has scared Moses off, I always got on with him.

Ferguslie Park is more accurate

Assuming that you'll want a beer, try the Bon Accord - beside the Mitchell Library. Loads of curry shops at that end of Sauchiehall Street.

I just had 2 weeks in Glasgow for work. 1st week was a comedy of errors but the second was quieter.

What hotel are you staying in ? Where abouts will you be based ?
