Anyone know of any web site where you can get a graph of the price of cude oil, over various time spans, eg 5 years.

If it does daily prices in a table, thats ok as excel can do the graph.

Also looking for graphs for petrol price at the pump.

Would be interesting to see. Apparently a barrel of crude was fetching under $10 in the late 90's compared to $65-70 now

It was.
OPEC tries to keep a barrel of crude at around $25-30 (until recently when they have revised this to $40-50), but overproduction and a glut caused the price to sink to $10 in the late 90's as you said.....
