What are you looking for in your phone, other than just making calls.
If you just want to make calls, what's wrong with your current one?

Theres nothing wrong with my nokia 6670, I just fancy a change. I have been toying with the idea of getting the mobile version of TOM TOM, so perhaps I should be looking at phones which are supported by the software.

Does anyone have the TOM TOM mobile, is it any good?

Motorola V3 RAZR. Struggling to find anything superior ATM. Its replacement, the V3X, is too thick (more like a 4-blade RAZR), although there's a SLVR coming too which instead of being a flip is more like a candybar RAZR.

And I used to hate Motorola phones, but it looks like they're getting something right now. Maybe the guy who used to design decent Nokias is now working for them, because I haven't seen a Nokia I like in ages. The 8800 is OK, but the battery life is terrible.

SE K750i is OK if you like that sort of thing, but it's USP is the 2MP camera. If you don't take many photos (like I don't) it's a bit of a waste.

Me too, I have a Motorola RazrV3 and am delighted with it. The battery lasts much longer than my ex Nokia and I like the way it works, having steered away from anything non- Nokia for years, this is a doddle.

V3 is a very stylish phone, but texting on it sucks big time! I have Tom Tom mobile on my 6260 and it works well although battery life on the 6260 isnt great.

Hi mate,

If you are after functionality it will have to be the MDA Compact by T-mobile. By the way it is the same as the imate.

It is running windows mobile and tom tom is superb.

You can download the TomTom version for free on the web and the only thing you have to buy is the GPS module, which is around 80 to 100 pounds.

You cannot go wrong with the MDA!

I grudgingly got a w800i. I really wanted a flip/slidey phone as I'm fed up dialling 999/911/112 but there is nothing out there with spec/memory option as the k750/w800 with the features/usability and compact packaging

No brainer option really in terms of spec 512meg card as standard is the clincher for why I had it, purely for the MP3 usage I intended to use it for - which it does well.

Love the phone, I just wish it were an nokia 8800...just the 8800 has crap spec and alledgedly poor battery life.....but if you just want a phone to make phone calls from, then maybe thats the better option

The SPV/iMates are very good tools too

W800i is a superb phone, you can upgrade the memory card to 1gig for £50,

IMHO one of the best looking phones out too.

Don't go for the 6680!

I have one and the software is terrible. I have to reset it daily as it hangs on the network, not allowing calls in or out, but looks like it's on the network fine :x

that did cross my mind , I did also consider the Nokia 6680 but vodafone want an extortionate amount for it.

Vodafone said said that they don know when the N series will hit the shops, I suppose I could wait.

Looks like its between the NOKIA 6680 and the K750i, apparently the nokia doesn't have a very good battery life.

decisions,decisions.

Because the "extra" contract cost for a w800i compared to a k750 for most people is less than cost of the bigger 512meg Memorystick - cost £25 extra for me between the 750 and 800...a 512meg card costs £40, so it makes perfect sense to go for the 800

And you get some pretty damn good ear phones too

mr brother just recieved the N90 the other day....looks small and tidy in pictures.... when you recieve it....its an absolute BRICK!!!!!!!!! check out the weight and you'll understand why... i can only imagine what the n91 will be like...

I've got the K750i....neat little phone, quite easy to use but the best thing imo is the size.... hate the lack of ring ring tones tho

why not go for the nokia 6230i, a nice little cheap phone and will rival the k750i, but the phone itself feels stronger so you dont have to worry as much about it getting broken
