Oh yeh, especially the 1st few episodes. IIRC there were 6? The fit woman eating the hamster and the guy who also played Freddy Cruger having his skin scratched to reveal his true amphibious (sp) self.
Oh yeh, and the woman who had "twins".
LOL

I was at school when this was on. Because it was on late, we used to video it the night it was on, watch it the next day, then talk about it on the bus on the way to school the day after.

Weren't there two series? Before and after the birth of the "Starchild"? IIRC Michael Ironside was in it, too.

I remember it; ITV showed it to counter the BBCs coverage of the 1984 Los Angeles olymimpic games.

Yep, loved it back in '84, not sure how well it will stand the test of time. Special effects looked ok then but i am sure will look pants now.

Perhaps time for a re-run or remake?

Michael Ironside was the best thing in it IMHO - propper tough guy!

Remember the voices of the 'visitors' used to have a 'robotic' effect but at times they often forget to use this, cheap skates

LOL - I was a kid when this was on.

Scared the **** out of me when Juliet was being broken by Diane (sad, i can even remember the names!!)
The bit where she was being chased by the alien thru the mothership.

Mike Donovan
"Ham" - Michael Ironside (kinda helped launch his career)

Great film and mini-series... must get them on DVD
