Default Connect conventional telephone to wallsocket via wireless?

A mate will be moving his sky box into another room, away from his telephone wallsocket.

He's doesnt want to fit an extension lead.

Can you connect a skybox or telephone for that matter to BT wallsocket using a wireless device in between ? Sort of a wireless alternative to an extension lead I suppose ?

BT used to do a cordless "socket" as part of the Diverse range. Not sure if they still make it though...
