Of course he could. Like most cases of this nature there are events before that you wonder how they went untraced or where not acted upon at the time.

I have to say I find this video now surfacing suspicious. Wonder how much she was paid?

What irritated me about this case was how all the media jumped on the Police saying he had been investigated before. So why was he working in a School?

Something the Tabloids seem to miss, is the "Innocent until proven guilty" Huntley was never convicted on any of the alledged assaults. So clearly the evidence never stood up to much. DNA testing was availiable, but failed to produce anything. For all we know she may have cried rape when it was a one night stand and she felt guilty the next morning.

But now, they (media) want the law changed to take into account allegations rather than proof. No douby they'll also rally around people for "Police tampering with evidence and incompetence lead to a mis-carriage of justice"

The FACTS are simple. Nearly all crimes can be seen with Hindsight. Look at 9/11 look at London bombings. But when there is no immediate proof what are you supposed to do? Make it up?

Old news. There were a series of allegations against Huntley, but nothing even got as far as a court IIRC. And also IIRC he used a false name when he applied for the Soham job anyway.
