Does anyone have any good ideas/nights out for raising money for a sports club.

Another club had a horse race night (betting on pre-recorded races, beer, pie & peas) which raised nearly £1000.

Now, this would be a good idea for us - i just thought they might be a different theme or event we could do.

The only ones we could get away with are paint stripper - they will be women and oldies there.

We had a fun day at our school and had a balloon race.
Everyone sold balloons to their family and friends for a £1.

A post card was attached to each balloon with an explanation and the school address.
There was a prize for the person who found the balloon and postcard and a prize for the one that travelled the most!

The balloons were released on the day it looked fantastic seeing over a 1,000 balloons going off into the sky.
The winner's balloon had gone to Ireland!
