I am slightly confused, they seem to multiply like toilet germs.

Dont they see them selves being laughed at on tv and in the papers and decide to put their caps on properly and take their trousers out their socks? Or am i giving them to much credit?

The problem is thanks to the media, this buzz word has become a fashion.

In its first use in recent years (ignoring the pikey origins), it, and still does to me, means the lowest form of human scum...Someone who has no intelligence, no ability to be individual, no sense of responsibility, who leeches off others to make their way through life, be it benefits or crime or just by purely existing they are burdening others. They undermine our social structure and our family structure, they are the ones who are responsible for tarring anyone with a British nationality with teh same brush to outsiders - be it yobs, thugs, hooligans - yes that's how foriegners labels us purely because of them.

People who see this buzz word as a label or a fashion trend need to think twice - As it dilutes its meaning and its intended derogatory slur on the people it is truely intended for.

 

The person i had to deal with this morning.... It was truely inteded for him! Trust me. lol.

Have you noticed and this is my own thoughts on Chavs/Scallies

The things they wear come from convenience.. let me explain

The socks over the pants, this comes from riding a bike, so your pants didn't get ripped, it just caught on with all the er.. well you know.
Wolly hats, caps etc keep the sun out your eyes, keep your head warm etc.. tracksuits, well although they look retarded they are comfortable. I mean I wash the car or walk the dog I wear tracksuit pants, I dont actually own a full track suit
Everything you can name has been a good idea taken and used badly. I can't wear a hat now cause it makes me look Chav I cant wear brown shoes when I go out cause **** ed tend to wear them... its all **** really

I am so bored

Funny you should mention the socks over trousers thing, another reason i heard is so they can throw things they nick/drugs etc down their trousers and it won't fall out the bottom

And there's me thinking it's because they're not properly potty trained, and by this method they can get the product home for their little, rodent faced, grey complectioned, sparse-haired siblings to play with!
