Have just bought a Tv from Empire direct, they had a good price so I decided to go with them, my brother has bought stuff off them and was happy so I thought I might as well use them, was doing a bit of research on the tv in question and found a link from

And the link said the best price was 70 quid lower than I was about to pay, clicked on the link and it wouldnt let me order at that price, rang them last night and they said they would honour it, decided to sleep on it and ordered it via the link (now working) at the reduced price.

So we nearly bought it at 799 from Comet, 180 quid cheaper at Empire Direct and then another 70 quid via PriceTaxi brings it down to 550.

How the hell does that work ?

Hmmm some of the prices on there do seem very good. There seems to be a lot of older models on there but I suppose if you've seen one similar in a store it must be relatively recent?

Yeah it is a HDTV so its not exactly going to be last years. Cant wait to get it, want to try plugging a pc into it, wireless KB/Mouse/network and its living room surfing and all that media centre bollocks, the resolution is 1024 by 1380 so pretty good (well reasonable) even by monitor standards.
