Hi Tel

Yes the incident was a while back but it was only this week/end of last week that they decided to have the enquiry. IMHO More than likely because Ken would not apologise.

The original event occured back then, it seems, as I read it, that he is about to have his disciplinary hearing though. Lets hope he gets the 5 year ban, however unlikely

Gotcha. I thought the enquiry was pretty much a done deal, it was just a case of when, not if. Livingstone has always lived in a world of contradiction, but like Blair, comes up with the right soundbyte at the right time to keep the masses happy.

So much for freedom of speech, as the guy said he has been rude to reporters for 25 years, he is opinionated like most of the people on here surely he is entitled to his opinion, so what if he offended a reporter, there is obviously not enough scandel in the UK so they need to make a big dealout of yet another public figure and force him to resign.

Quote:
It acted after Mr Livingstone asked Evening Standard reporter Oliver Finegold whether he had ever been a "German war criminal".

On hearing that Mr Finegold was Jewish, the mayor likened him to a **** concentration camp guard.
for a start he only asked him if he was a German war criminal he di not accuse him of being one. Then there must have been a reason for his second comment, has teh Scoobynet lynch mob bothered to find out his side of the story as to what lead to his comment?

There are far to many busy bodies sticking their nose into other peoples business in the UK no wonder the place is going to rat ****.

Lets see, hes painfully PC, puts the needs of immigrants and scroungers before hardworking Londoners and makes anti-Jewish comments - cant think why you would like him so much Moses
