looking round at the moment northern rock have the cheapest APR (5.6%), but do they front load the interest?? I would like to pay the loan of earlier than the agreed term, so want makesure i get a loan that charges daily rather than front loading

Looking here for comparisons: www.moneysupermarket.com it doesn't mention daily calculated interest so I'd assume it's front loaded. Any company offering the daily calculated version will be shouting about it, IMHO. They do state no redemption penalty, though.

IIRC Northern Rock calculate yearly interest. As such if you are looking to settle your loan early you need to do it at the end of the year otherwise you'll be stung for the interest for the remaining months.
