Default Respraying a bumper

if I get just my front bumper sprayed is there likely to be a large difference in colour between the bumper and wings/bonnet assuming I get just the bumper done?

Car is 11 years old and the bumper has faded badly and been scratched chip etc.

Depends on the bodyshop, they should be able to mop and polish the car to bring back the old bodywork. So if its done right you won't notice new from old.

depends on the colour really. I think red is probably the hardest to match. sometimes you dont even notice until nightfall and then the thing looks like a patchwork quilt under the streetlamp.

Yep, but done right it should match

Red, Blue, silver and pearls or metallics of the same are the worst to match usually.

As above, done right it should be ok. You could have problems if your car is lacquered and the colour has faded, doesn't happen often but a good bodyshop can get round this.

I wouldn't worry about a bumper too much anyway, they usually have to be a way off for you to notice, dunno why but they're different to an ordinary panel match Manufacturers often don't get it quite right when you look closely!

My original STi (94) was silver(406) and the aerosols made up by Brown Brothers or Halfords to the original colour code matched perfectly when I resprayed my own bumpers.
