Default Best place to buy Disklok

Hi
I want to buy something like Disklok (the one that fully covers the steering wheel) Where is the best place to buy one? How much is the plastic film that goes on inside of windows to prevent glass breaking to pieces-is it any good? Any more security suggestions would be appreciated. Got an alarm and imobiliser

You can get the disklok from Halfrauds and also buy them direct - don't know prices though. I'd get the storage bag which has velcro on the bottom to stop it sliding around in the boot

For the security film your best to phone around general window tinting places. I had a car done once which was cheap from what I remember, can't remeber the name of the place but they were on the same industrial estate as Demon Tweeks in Wales

Check out your local police station to see if they are supplying Diskloks on discount.
Some used to do this as part of a car theft prevention scheme.

I got mine from Costco for only £45.

Remeber if it's a newage, that they can't drive the car away without the key, and if they've got that they will probably already have the disklok key too. This also negates trying to break the window. The only other ways without the key is to tow it, pick it up (low loader) or carjack you. I'd consider Clifford Blackjax first, and maybe a tracking device if you've not already got one. The Disklok is an excellent deterant, but anyone who knows about newage security won't even try any of the old methods, so it's only inexperienced young ******* who are still learning their trade who might have an unsuccesful go.
