Poor old Robin Reid
Just watched the fight between Reid and Lacy and i did feel sorry for Reid tbh... His heart is just not in it anymore 
Reid has a confidence problem in my opinion...Sometimes he's good, sometimes he's bad and its been that way throughout his career... I cant wait for Lacy-boy to come to Wales and fight Joe Calzaghe... I just hope Joe doesnt struggle too much and sends lacy packing... Is it just me or did i see traits of tyson in Lacy... The guy is strong though... COME ON JOE!!! time to show the yanks what we can do

Lacy certainly looked impressive. Sure Joe would test him but it will be a hard fight. Appears to have a powerful punch and his will to win shone through.
Think Robin needs to retire. Quality headbutt though....................

right here is a technical perspective
lacy has the skills but in my opinion didnt go through the gears early enough.
sad to say but if he had pressured the fight at all he could have forced a stoppage by round 2
reid is a counter puncher and looks to sway from the waist using body/head movement then catch a fighter coming in .
This didnt work with lacy because he was unorthodox in that he stood off then literally jumped the last 2 or 3 inches throwing punches as he came.
pros of this style - its very hard to defend against as you cannot see it coming and cant really counter it
cons of this style - you cannot set your feet and thus dont generate real power
roy jones used this style (in part) but was found out by faster counter punchers who were prepared to take a shot and move into it
