Cunbria camera partnership claimed that deaths were down at their camera sites but, it turns out, this high profile claim was an "administrative error" and deaths at Cumbria cameras sites have actually risen by 48%. Of course the high profile claims of a reduction in deaths are the figures that hit the media and it is unlikely that Cumbria will be publishing a retraction. But just so you know the truth is out there:
