Getting to the American Embassy in London from Manchester?
I have to take the missus to the American Embassy on 26th July.
I really have no idea of the best way to get me and the Mrs to central london, I presume parking would be a nightmare, and i'd have to pay congestion charging? . but still possibly the cheaper option over trains?
ANyone any suggestions. I'm coming from Manchester By the way and have to be at the embassy for 11;45 am
Thanks
Andy

Virgin Trains from Manchester Picadilly to London Euston - takes about 2 hours 15 mins
I believe the Embassy is in Grosvenor Square - Bond Street is your closest tube I would get the Victoria line to Oxford Circus and walk the rest.
