Default Prevented an attempted breakin of my scoob last night!!!

Went to a pub and parked the car right outside the main window so could keep an eye on it. Noticed 2 kids on bikes about 10-12yrs!!!! they were acting a little suspiciously, so mentioned to my mates and 3 of us went outside, one of my mates looks like the bouncer sort, heavily built skinhead

Anway, as we walked out to my car one of the kids was peering through the passanger window and the other standing about 3 meters away holding a brick

instantly knew what they were gonna do, so my mate, the bouncer sort yells at am 'hoi what the f*ck you doing! F*ck off before i beat the **** out of you!!' (bearing in mind we were playing pool so my mate had a pool cue in his hand) and he walk over to them in a very threatening manner brandishing the pool cue in what i would describe as a very threatening manner. Never seen 2 kids sh*t themselves so quickly' they hopped on their bikes (probably nicked) and pedalled as fast as they could away!

Checked the car and it was fine, Drove round to a mates about 15 mins walk away and dropped it off asking him just to keep an eye on it (again another heavily built bloke )

Called the police and reported it as an attempted crime, they said they'd send a car round the area, Yep, I was thinking the same as you guys 'yeah fat chance of that happening'. Anyway we walked back to the pub and amazingly as we walked into the car park a patrol car was making a slow circle, went over and had a chat with them and they confirmed they were there because of a report of an attempted crime, told them it was us who made the call and gave them a full description and they said thay'd have a look round the area and keep an eye out for them.

I know there's not much they can do but was sutibly impressed with the quick response.

Good news, on stopping the oiks, and the response from the cops.
Glad your motor's OK, and can you please lend us your mate for the next time I leave my car somewhere dodgy - I'd love to have seen the look on their faces

You should have a KITT like me. The brick would have bounced of the window and smacked the little kid in the head!!

I caught a lad and his mate knicking my valve caps a few years back (don't bother with flashy ones any more, not worth the hassle) and read him the riot act for a full 10 minutes. You could tell he was a decent enough kid just doing a bit of mischief for a dare as he was blubbing his eyes out, genuinely I asked him to take me to his home so's I could speak to his parents, or to give me their number and I'd call them. He declined both very apologetically, so I faked calling the police, which really shat him up, and I threatened to take his bike to see how he liked having his property taken from him, and told him I would only give it back to his parents when they come around. My partner intervened after I'd put enough fear into him and sent him on his way, tail between legs, tears rolling down face and the valve caps refitted to my car Scaring them off isn't enough, they need fear.

Actually, I reckon it was more the tone of voice.
I used to own a hardware store and am only a little 5'3" lady and one day a couple of n'er do wells came in to try to rob me. I saw red, how DARE they try to steal from my hard earned toil. So I bawled at them ,"What the hell d'you think you're doing? Get out of here right now". To this day I don't know where I got that voice from but the next I knew , they were hi-tailing it out through the door. Sheesh..... about 5 minutes later I went to jelly! BUT it had the desired effect.

My mate used to live in a very dodgy area - There was some kids actually going down the road trying the doors with a bloody wheel barrow - The cheeky little b@stards!!! Anyway it was not long before they dissapeared into there own house by the looks of it - We quickly ran out and nicked the wheel barrow - It was hilarious.
