is age important in a relationship?
was wondering what your thoughts are on this?
my partner is 6 years older than me,but i dont think i would be all that bothered if she was 20 years older to be honest
as long as the spark was still there.

From my personal experience, it depends on the age gap. My friend for instance has been going out with a woman 20 years older than him. She helped him stop drinking (as much) and helped him sort his money worries. She was older and wiser and it shows but unfortuantly I cannot really relate to her. Dunno why but it kinda drove a wedge between our friendship, nobodies fault though. He is happy btw, having jsut sold his house and set up with her

I am 9 years older than my wife, but then, I don't feel as old as I actually am.
(Does that make sense?)
Age should not be a barrier in a relationship, what is important is the 'Feel-right' factor.

I don't think the age difference is a major issue, but, it can depend when you meet.
My 1st wife was 5 1/2 yrs younger, but the problem was she was 16 1/2 when I met her (thought she was same age as me) We were together 10yrs in total, latter 5 being married, but she was a totally different person (Psycho) at 26 compared to 16 so we divorced.
My wife now is just 24days younger and its fantastic.
When your an older male its real easy to pull a young bird, when I was 37 (& divorced/single) I pulled a 19yr old and had a great time, but in the end I got bored with her "younger" attitude and dumped her (read that as spending 2 weeks of telling her its over but her declaring her love for me blah blah blah)

Dont think age matters one little bit.
My wife is 8 years older than me. (i'm 29, she's 37) And it never causes any issues..
All down to how much you love each other.

Our 10 years don't bother us. Steve is my toy boy ! and we are about as equal as you can get. In fact we have a very balanced relationship , each complimenting the other's strengths and weaknesses. Long may it last

I think that age doesn't really matters to be honest. You see so many people who are however many years different from each other and live a happy life together!!
My ex was 8 years older than me which I never really saw as a huge age difference, but as time went on it soon started to show its flaws! My current boyfriend is 4 years older than me and it suits me just fine! I do like an older guy, he he!

[QUOTE=dannytwo]
im giving him an example its all saying that if she is 20 yrs older, if a woman is 20 yrs older i will only feel sorry for her, coz her ******* man is gonna cheat on her with someone younger and the time when she is 70 her man will probably leave her long time before , he will be 50 at the time
so its unjust on a woman
