I presume we are talking 'replica' here? Real Daytona models are on a waiting list basis (£3,600 new, £5,000 second hand). Therefore if you do see a new one snap it up just be sure it comes from an approved Rolex dealer.
Fake ones can be had in this country for around £90 (they look pretty good) and you get a 90 day warranty on them. None of the replicas I've seen have any water resistence though.

I am out in Malaysia 3-4 times a year, Daytonas (all stainless steel models) are very hard to come by and when you do see one, they are at the same sort of premium as in the UK (i.e. £5000). Bi-metal and all gold Daytonas are readily available and you will be able to get a discount on those.
You should be able to save a few quid on yachtmasters, explorers, GMT's and day / datejust's (anywhere between 15% upto 30%) depending whther its in a big main dealer or a small authorised dealer. The small guys usually offer the better deal as they have less over-heads to pay.
Most Malay / Chinese that can afford to buy a Rolex often tend to buy a Watch in the western countries like the UK and Switzerland, purely because they think having a european stamp on the guarantee makes it more valuble.
Hope I have helped a little.

I've always found watches to be substantially cheaper in the far east, particularly Thailand and Singapore.
I don't think people place any value on the fact it was brought in Europe
