Default Advice needed to put weight on quick

Ive lost a bit of weight over the last few weeks, about a stone

im about 5'10" and currently about 10stone 2

normally around the 11 stone mark, or slightly over, and have been for about 18 years or so, with practially no variance at all in that weight

Whats the best way to increase weight (not talking about getting bulging biceps and all that kind of stuff)

I dont have any fat at all on me, but im not skinny either (as such, some might disagree tho )

My current diet (other than the smokes) is mainly junk food, pizza's burgers, chips, pies, kebabs, occasionally having roast chicken etc etc

normally for lunch ill have 2 baguettes and a mousse, and for dinner usually your normal junk food

dont really snack on much else, cept maybe the odd bag of crisps etc

I do eat like a pig too (as in lots of food)

and I do get the odd bit of excercise too

Any ideas on increasing my weight

Cheers

Steve

I wouldn't try to gain or lose weight quickly, it's not healthy and probably dangerous. But if you really want to do it then I'd recommend lots of pasta or some of those bodybuilding supplements but without the exercise. But be careful you could end up with a heart problem.

Why do you want to gain weight? You look healthy enough to me. I'd happily trade my 16 stone frame for your 10 stone one

Get Married - Seems to work for most folk .

Putting on weight isn't a problem for me - as to how I've managed I can't really remember - I must be a "Natural" .

Eat more, exercise less.

If you have lost 14 lbs in a week with no excercise or dietary change and haven't been ill, you may want to consult you doctor, as that isn't normal.

Sounds to me like you have worms

do you know why you have lost the weight?? you said you havnt changed your diet or anything... maybe it is because of stress... or maybe an undetected illness, if you are losing weight seriously fast and dont know why then i would suggest a trip to the doc for a check over, just to be sure!

OK, here's a sure fire winner to get you gaining weight:

drink at least 2 pints of full fat milk a day
skip breakfast
eat 2 packs of crisps with each of your 2 daily meals
eat until you can't fit any more food in your stomach for at least 1 meal per day (preferably the bulk of this meal should be made up of carbs, pasta and/or chips are ideal for this)

I have been under some stress of late, but most of that has now gone

as for the Worms they are well fed

Rev, yesterday I had 2 cups of cup a soup with 18 rounds of warburtons toastie bread, and was starving all night

the soup at the moment, is cos I had two teeth (one wisdom one) taken out on sunday and have about 10 or so sticthes in my gum

I cant excercise any less than I do really

if your stress has pretty much gone, and once your stitches have healed, you will prolly find that your weight goes back up to normal of its own accord.

wouldnt worry too much unless you continue to lose weight rapidly after your mouth has healed.

Stop eating sugar based products that change your insulin level. Eat complex carbohydrates by the basin full, 6-8 times a day.

40 minute workout every day (independant muscle groups) with low rep heavy free weights.

Oxy 20 Steroids.

Or if you have the cash Oxy 50's (Anadrol 50) unless you are prone to water retention there is not much stronger.

Might increase your appetite through boredom. Won't make you much bigger.

Sonic you can inject in various places but as always, care must be taken in ALL cases. In the upper thigh, you must inject on the OUTSIDE of the upper thigh NEVER ON THE INSIDE, you could kill yourself if you inject there because there are main arteries that, if punctured, would bleed you to death - NEVER EVER go there, and I ain’t kidding! The shoulders are another option as there is little fat in that area and shorter, thinner needles can be used with no real problems. I find the delts a great injection site for gear such as Winstrol Depot. I use the small insulin needles for this and it works great.
Personally, I prefer the outer shoulder (deltoid) as an alternative to the leg for two main reasons:
1. It does not hurt as much and
2. I am a coward !!

PS - Please take note of the picture that follows for safety reasons remembering that relationships can and do get a little heated as one reader found out. His wife was complaining about the training and so he complained about the food! She told him to “go shove the training up his ****” and he said, well you can see the result. And they said that training was not dangerous!

Sonic, eat properly. Not the junk food. Loads of Pasta, Chicken, Fish, Potates. Good for ya and you'll gain weight in the right area,s. Stress will have a MAJOR effect and you weight too. I put on about 2 stone when I packed the ciggys in 5 yrs ago, cos I was eating loads in between meals to compensate, ie, Banana,s by the bunch, and lots of Mars Bars etc etc. I think the in-between was is the best way. Going the gym will help you gain muscle weight, without building up too much.

Good luck

Ya Fat Get

Banana,s by the bunch
Sounds like a plan

I dont have any fat on my body (not that can be seen) only muscle, although not that big, it is all muscles and not fat

I do need to eat decent weight gaining food, but I thought all the junk food would do that

i do have a high metabolism, usually burn off the calories before I eat

I used to have a fast metablism too, but as Ive got older (ahherrrmmm 37) its starting to slow down, and now I cant each as much as I want. Banana's, if you like em, are great for weight gain, well, they were for me after I quite smoking. PLUS, as ya get older, ya start to think of your heart more, and how much longer ya want to live Thats why I say eat more Chicken and Pasta and Fish etc etc

Ya STILL a fat get

Could be a knackered thyroid - are you feeling tense, hyperactive? Fatigued, perhaps.

Get to your doctor asap and get checked out. If you've lost a stone over a few weeks and haven't altered your diet or lifestyle, then I'd suggest there may well be something wrong.

I don't get this. You're most concerned by either losing weight or by people commenting that you've lost weight - so your first reaction is to try to take perhaps drastic measures to put it back on again??

Instead of getting a bigger bucket to bail the bath out, might you not consider turning the tap off first?

I hadnt realised I had lost that much weight, until people started saying how thin I had started looking, so I weighed myself, and I also noticed my jeans etc are becoming a little baggy around the waistline (by an inch or two)

Again not something I immediatly noticed, but looking in the mirror, my face does look quite thin now

I was a little surprised at how much weight I was down (this is fully clothed too, with big trainers on)

I feel healthy, and am reasonably fit, but what I dont want to do is to lose any more weight, I need to start putting it back on, but I pretty much physically cannot eat any more than I am doing

Im not talking about taking drastic measures, as I said in my earlier post, that I dont want it back in a week, i certainly wont be doing any kind of injections or steroids etc

more getting a decent diet that will give me weight gain

My doc told me a while back that ideally I should be about 12 stone (which means im 2 stone under weight)

Not quite sure on the comment on getting a bigger bucket, and turning the tap off first ?

Sorry - just echoing what others said above, you'd be better off trying to find out why you lost it. If whatever it is has gone, you'll probably put it back on naturally - if whatever it is hasn't gone, then you should sort it out rather than just trying to eat more, exercise less, take steroids etc to compensate.

it could quite possibly be the recent stress that has caused the weight loss, I would still like to increase my overall weight by about a stone

even if my 'normal' weight resumes, im still in theory a stone under weight

Liddo, Im 37 in a few months
