NSR MTB'ers? £700 Budget?
Afternoon Scoobynet Mountain Bikers!,
Im looking at replacing my aging Orange P7, as its getting a bit long in the tooth these days, and its going to let me down soon I think!
I've a budget of about £700... my only requirements really are discs, pref Shimano and a decent fork. In the frame so far is:

Any other suggestions? I don't do anything madder than XC!!
Also, which MTB forums do you use, if any?
TIA

Rock Lobster/Merlin, I'd suggest - you really can't do much better for the price. Mind you, I'd almost certainly go secondhand instead.
And Singletrackworld is the only forum I'd consider

Spend an extra £100 notes and buy this beaut: http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/acatalog/Sale_Bikes.html
Merlin steel frames, hmm. Or a second-hand custom built steel job like a Chas Roberts - they last forever and ride lovely.
